Fabplus Ltd has received an Invest NI Grant for Research and Development, supporting company innovation in services, products and processes.

Part financed by the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme for Northern Ireland co financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

There are two projects being implemented over the coming months; the first being the "development of an automated, integrated and high output pipe optimisation system", part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme 2014-2020, it aims to optimises productivity, whilst ensuring more efficient use of materials, better product quality, reduced factory lead times and enhance worker safety. This system allows us to scale quickly and increase our competitiveness.

The second project, the "development of a powder coating system", also part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme 2014-2020, allows us to offer a complete solution as a trusted supplier. Powder coated surfaces are more resilient creating a protective coating that extends the life of the metal as well as offering a seamless look between horizontal and vertical. Whilst the initial investment required to create this powder coating facility is quite significant; being able to control the powder coating schedule avoids delays and enables better quality control over the finished product. Being able to guarantee quality is crucial ensuring jobs are done correctly, first time!
